Step by step guide to setting or changing your OutBüro profile image.
In order to help OutBuro be a robust community allow you and every member to get the most from it, we require every profile to have minimal content which starts with a profile image. Therefore when you establish your OutBuro account and login for the first time the system presents your Profile Add/Change Profile Image screen as seen below:
Notice the Error message in the pink highlighted area regarding the profile not having a Profile Photo and one must be added to use the site. This will appear when first accessing the site and if at any time a profile photo is removed prompting the member to add a photo.
Use the Change Cover Image area to upload a profile photo for the first time or to change. Select the green “Select your file” button to continue.
Using a saved image file
Selecting from your hard drive or other system connected drive is as you would expect with any other application. Select the file and click choose. The system uploads the photo and presents it with a small box. Use your mouse to grab the anchors of the box to resize it so that the image appears as you like in the circle. When done click the “Crop Photo” button to accept.
Using your device camera
When you choose to “Take a photo” the system will prompt you for permission to access your device camera. The default is to allow the OutBüro system to access your camera once. This is recommended and you can grant this one-time permission as often as you like.
Position yourself in front of your system camera to take a selfie and click the “Capture” button to take the picture. Do this as many times as you like until you have a great photo. When ready, click the “Save” button. The photo will become your profile photo.
To cancel and not use the image, simply navigate away from this tab without saving.
You may change your profile photo as often as you like.
Deleting Profile Photo
You may delete your current profile at any time. Note that OutBüro requires some kind of profile photo to use the system, so you may delete the photo, and then the system will require a new photo before continuing to use the system again. Or you may simply Change your profile photo by following the step above for uploading a file or capturing camera picture.
