CIBC hosting tax and estate planning conversation for members of the LGBTQ+ community

TORONTO, July 14, 2021 /CNW/ – According to a recent CIBC poll, only 39 percent of Canadians who identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community have a written legal will, below the national average of 47 percent. To help close this gap and ensure that all Canadians feel secure with their financial future, CIBC is hosting a free webinar on July 21, 2021, at 2 p.m. ET. The webinar will feature CIBC experts covering essential tax and estate planning conversations and addressing commonly-asked questions from members of the LGBTQ+ community. The English webinar (with simultaneous French translation) will be hosted by Carissa Lucreziano, CIBC Vice-President, Financial and Investment Advice.

  • Financial realities and opportunities facing the LGBTQ+ community
  • Real-life story of one family’s tax and estate planning journey
  • In-depth look at the unique aspects that should be considered when planning for tax and estate matters
  • Live Q&A with CIBC experts
