If so, be sure to complete your www.OutBuro.com LGBTQ professional profile including uploading a professional headshot and a profile header that is beautiful captivating and says something about your interests personally or professionally. Make it stand out, captivate, and shine
As a community, it is important to create a sense of credibility. Part of doing so is sharing your professionally-oriented headshot image on your profile. As you engage in the community it will be what other members regularly see. If you post articles on the site, it will be included in your Author Box at the end of every article you post. This is a professional and entrepreneur focused site, so keep all your content including images to that standard.
From your profile, hover your mouse over the default user profile image.
When the camera image appears, click.
The Change Avatar window appears.
Select “Upload Photo” and then a local file manager window will appear. Browse your drives to locate your image and select as you do in all other applications. Once done it will upload and appear similar to the following.
Notice the circle image on the right of the screen. This is how your image will appear. To adjust choose the “Crop image” button.
Drag and resize the shaded area selector as you like. When done click the blue “Save Thumbnail” button to preview. If not perfect, no problem, just choose the “Crop Image” button and redo. Once done choose the “Done” button.
From your OutBüro profile page click the camera image in the top right area of your profile header image area.
The options of Reposition and Modify will appear due to the default profile header being present. Choose Modify to add your own image.
The Change Cover Photo box will appear. Choose Upload Photo. A typical file manager system window will appear. Navigate your system to locate the image you want, then select it and choose “Open” or whatever the choice is on your system.
In our example, the image is a large file and not fully showing.
We can reposition it so that the best parts of the image is viewable. Select the camera icon and this time select the Reposition link. Next, simply click on the image holding down your mouse button and drag the image up or down until it’s positioned as you like. Finally, click the save button.

On Your Profile
While in Edit mode, scroll down until you see the Mentor section. Make your choices and complete the descriptions then be sure to save. Also, make a choice as to who may view this information from just yourself to only logged in site members to the public (internet searchable) as in every field on our profile.
Once you have completed at least 60% of your profile to unlock the Search Members feature, you may search members who indicate they either want a mentor or those open to being a mentor. Make other selections such as industry, location and more to narrow your search. If and when you find someone, use the site messaging feature and connect via the Friends request. Take it from there.
