Jeff Hammerberg: Locate an LGBTQ Realtor on GayRealEstate.com

In this episode of OutBüro Voices featuring LGBTQ professionals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders from around the world, host Dennis Velco chats with entrepreneur Jeff Hammerberg. Jeff is the founder of www.GayRealEstate.com. https://www.gayrealestate.com/

To connect with Jeff find him on OutBüro here. https://outburo.com/profile/gayrealtor/

Jeff started out serving in the US Navy for 4 years in the San Diego, California area. After his military service, he relocated to Denver, Colorado to begin a career in commercial real estate. After several years in commercial real estate, Jeff made the jump to residential real estate starting off with ReMax.

In mid-1993 Jeff was struck how after a couple walked in seeking help in buying a new home was the but of homophobic jokes, after they left the office for being a gay male couple, Jeff felt there had to be a way to better serve the LGBTQ community with respect and trust. In the early day, pre-internet, Jeff work tirelessly to build a “Rolodex” of LGBTQ (and community allies) Real Estate agents. He placed ads in LGBTQ publications to attract both real estate agents and persons seeking to buy or sell their homes. Jeff would connect the sellers/buyers with realtors from his ever-growing list.

Once the internet came along Jeff immediately jumped on the opportunity and had a few versions along the way to build what is now GayRealEstate.com where LGBTQ realtors may register for free and home buyers/sellers may seek out those LGBTQ and friendly realtors 24/7 365 days a year. Due to many reasons, Jeff actually has around 200% more realtors in his database than are listed on the site as he explains in our conversation. So, if you don’t find an LGBTQ realtor on the site, please send a message via the site’s contact form. A super-duper feature is the realtor ratings. Customers are encouraged to leave ratings after their home sale or purchase which helps the realtor as well as you make an informed decision on who to contract with. Using GayRealEstate.com is completely free for home buyers and home sellers to use. GayRealEstate.com is the leading source of real estate and gayborhood information specific to the LGBTQ community.

dominating Edge the law of attraction Jeff Hammer

This is an essential service for the LGBTQ community. Jeff, via GayRealEstate.com, supports 21 US national LGBTQ non-profits on a monthly basis and additionally sponsors events by those organizations too. When you use GayRealEtate.com you are therefore also supporting those organizations. It is good to know that a portion of the commission money your home sale or home purchase provides goes to support excellent LGBTQ community non-profits.

Jeff also has a great podcast titled “The Dominating Edge: The Law of Attraction” Search for it on your favorite podcast app. It is on Spotify here. https://open.spotify.com/show/4DuuXfh3SDHctUMPfUeEYZJ
